Abstract

Without a doubt, Alberto Rex González was the most influential figure in archaeological thought and practice in Argentina. In Cordoba in particular, he had a broad and profound impact on key aspects in the formation of the anthropological field and in the creation of a network of professional and personal links that defined an identity of belonging that transcended in time.
