Abstract

Continuing with the series of publications that we began in 2008, this time we have a recent issue. The second corresponding to volume 15 of the magazine. This issue brings news regarding the formation of the Editorial Team. In principle, we communicate that two of our section editors have finished their role in the period between the publication of the first issue of the year and this one. Mirta Bonnin said goodbye to her role as editor in the Museology section because this year she availed herself of retirement benefits. Mirta has accompanied us since the creation of this magazine, and she was a fundamental part of its development and, in particular, in promoting a space that we call the Museology Section and that actually includes much more than what the name suggests. This section has included a lot of questions about museums (and anthropology in particular) and also cross-cutting issues that affect not only museum issues but also issues related to the history of anthropology and how this has been reflected in the formation of collections and museums. All this imbued with an aura tinged with public archaeology. Two of Mirta’s favorite topics and that she established as her own and valid topics for the section. We will certainly miss her comments and contributions to the magazine, although we will certainly not let her go so easily. Rodrigo Montani abandons his role as editor in the Social Anthropology Section that he has held since 2019. Rodrigo is a young researcher who has selflessly collaborated with the magazine. But he should focus on the development of his research topic. For this reason, we thank him for the precise work he has done over the years, and we hope he can rejoin this committee. The doors are still open for it. Along with these departures, we are pleased to announce the incorporation of a new section editor, who will take the place left by Rodrigo. For this we have invited Mariana Espinosa, IDACOR researcher and professor at the National University of Córdoba, to join. Here, she comes to add her knowledge and impetus to give continuity to the section accompanying Gustavo Sorá, the historical editor of this space. That said, and looking at the content of this issue, we can see eleven original contributions and one book review. In this issue, we find represented works from the sections of Archaeology, Museology, Biological Anthropology and Social Anthropology.
