Articles submitted are pre-screened in order to verify that they conform to the current norms, to evaluate that they comply with the journal scope as well as to assess their originality and quality. Pre-screened articles are sent to external reviewers, national or foreign, selected among distinguished researchers with wide experience in the subject. Their participation is anonymous and from their assessment follows the decision to accept or reject the article. Regardless of the decision reached, all the reviewers’ comments are sent to the authors.
