Embriogénesis somática en soja (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) var. Bragg

Resumen
Se describe un sistema para la regeneración de plantas de soja (Glycine max (L.) Merr.), variedad Bragg, a través de embriogénesis somática. Se probaron tres fuentes de explanto: cotiledones de semillas inmaduras, hojas cotiledonares y secciones de hipocótilos de plántulas de 25 días. A partir de los primeros se obtuvieron callos embriogénicos y embriones somáticos. Inicialmente, la producción de callos embriogénicos fue inducida cultivando cotiledones de semillas inmaduras en medio MS adicionado con concentraciones de ácido α-naftalenacético (ANA) entre 0 y 20 mg/l, combinados con ácido 2,4-diclorofenoxiacético (2,4-D) entre 0 y 40 mg/l. Treinta mg/l de 2,4-D en ausencia de ANA fue la combinación hormonal más efectiva para la producción de callos embriogénicos a los 30 días de cultivo. Luego de 30 días de subcultivo en iguales condiciones, se formaron embriones somáticos, los cuales desarrollaron en plantas completas cuando fueron cultivados en medio MS adicionado con 0,15 mg/l de ANA, 0,33 mg/l de cinetina y 0,33 mg/l de 6-bencilaminopurina.
