El objetivo del trabajo es examinar el comportamiento de la oferta regional de trabajo en Argentina en el período 1980-1997. Centramos la atención en la perspectiva regional de la desocupación, la pregunta pertinente en cuanto a la importancia de los factores de oferta en la explicación del desempleo se expresa en términos tales como la estructura espacial de la oferta de trabajo, los cambios en los indicadores de actividad en diferentes regiones, o la movilidad interregional de los factores.
