Revista de Culturas y Literaturas Comparadas is indexed in DOAJ and is a member of the LatinRev Network. It is also indexed in the Latindex directory and catalog 2.0, and in Malena.

Focus and scope

Since 2007, the Revista de Culturas y Literaturas Comparadas publishes articles with a comparative approach, understanding comparatism in a broad sense, as the dialogue of diverse literary and cultural discourses.

Published annually, in December, the journal receives original articles - in Spanish, Portuguese, English, French and German - that respond to the theme proposed for the call for papers of each issue.

Open access policy

This journal provides immediate free access to its content under the principle of making research freely available to the public, in order to foster a greater exchange of global knowledge. The publication is free of charge to the author and the reader.

Articles published in the Journal of Comparative Cultures and Literatures are licensed under a License:

Attribution - Non-Commercial - No Derivative Works (by-nc-nd):

This means that anyone may copy, share or distribute the works published here, provided that:

1) you do not make commercial use of the original work,

2) does not alter the work or generate derivative works,

3) cites the source in full, indicating title, author, name and number of the journal, year of publication.

For the author, the assignment of non-exclusive rights implies:

1) the authorization for the work to be deposited in institutional repositories and in the databases that the publisher considers appropriate for indexing,

2) the maintenance of the patrimonial rights of the work after publication in this journal (postprint), with the clarification that the article has already been published here (the criteria listed above apply).
