Open access

Open access and reuse policies

Síntesis is an open access journal that upholds its commitment to the policies of Open Access to scientific production (established in the National Law 26.899 and its regulation and Resolution 1365/2017 of the National University of Córdoba), considering that both publications and scientific research financed with public funds should be freely available, free of charge and without restrictions.

In that sense, users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or link the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from publishers or authors. Therefore, the journal is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution - Noncommercial - No Derivative Works 4.0 International License, which means that published material may be shared as long as: a) the authorship and original source of publication (journal, publisher and URL of the work) is cited; and b) it is not used for commercial purposes. This is in accordance with the international open access definition proposed by the BOAI (Budapest Open Access Initiative), the UNESCO guidelines for the development and promotion of open access policies, the recommendations of the European Commission, among others.

Síntesis does not charge any kind of fee to authors for the publication of articles and no embargo is applied for their access.

Self-archiving policies

If the authors would like to disseminate the preprint version of their article, they should wait for the article to complete its editorial process, in order to guarantee its originality, and they should be referenced and use the same Creative Commons that the publication version (edited postprint) will have.

It should be clarified that the acceptance of the article by the journal Sïntesis, implies no simultaneous submission to other journals or editorial bodies.
