Abstract

This article presents the route of the research carried out within the framework of my TFL to qualify for the degree in Letters. Inscribed in the theoretical framework of chomskian Generative Grammar and, particularly, in the Principles and Parameters approach (P&P), it was oriented to the resolution of a practical question. I was particularly interested in the application in the Basic Cycle of Secondary Education of an approach to grammar based on the lexicon and in interrelation with syntax, such as that proposed by generative theory. It is necessary to emphasize, on the other hand, that the application to teaching that I proposed has not considered the didactics, that is, the clarification of the procedures, as well as the implementation in the classroom. My objective has always been a proposal at the content level, exclusively, from the theoretical framework of Generative Grammar, as a contribution to the Secondary school teacher, and based on this, all attempts at procedural and attitudinalsobjectives have been put aside, involved in any teaching and learning process
