Dance and Archive into “Proyecto Oobleck”: Towards Postdisciplinary Ways of Artistic Production
Keywords:
dance, archive, artistic creation, post disciplineAbstract
This article proposes a reflexive approach to the production process of Proyecto Oobleck. Starting from the concepts of post-discipline (Laddaga, 2006) and archive desire (Lepecki, 2013), it explores the ways of facing and giving new meanings to unforeseen events, so as to transform the impossibility of replaying an scenical work into the possibility of permanence as an artistic process. The investigation proposes to elucidate some aspects that affect dance composition and that modify the conventional format of a scenical work, in order to invent a sort of cultural ecology (Laddaga, 2006) based on the production of links, records and updates.
