Funções Executivas e Habilidades Narrativas são preditores relevantes do desempenho acadêmico, mas sabemos muito pouco sobre sua relação. Este estudo teve como objetivo revisar sistematicamente as pesquisas que abordam a relação entre funções executivas e habilidades narrativas em crianças com desenvolvimento típico. Seguindo a metodologia PRISMA, foram pesquisadas as bases de dados SCOPUS, WoS e EBSCO, incluindo artigos acadêmicos, em espanhol, inglês, português e francês, considerando três critérios de inclusão: avaliação direta dos construtos Habilidades narrativas e Funções executivas e sua relação, inclusão de informações na população com desenvolvimento típico e foco na faixa etária de 2 a 10 anos. A revisão incluiu 38 relatórios que mostraram que a associação entre os dois construtos é um fenômeno robusto. Observa-se o predomínio de estudos transversais. São necessários estudos longitudinais, com amostras mais diversas, e principalmente para o espanhol, para estabelecer a direcionalidade da relação.
