Resumen
Se propone como hipótesis que los variados síntomas atribuidos a “Síndromes Post Covid” o “Covid Persistente” que se están describiendo en numerosas publicaciones y crecientemente observados en la consulta comparten manifestaciones clínicas con el Síndrome Sensitivo Central. Estos incluyen Síndrome de Fatiga Crónica, Fibromialgias, ansiedad, trastornos del sueño, dificultades cognitivas sumados a síndromes depresivos transitorios, alteraciones de las capacidades de concentración, atención y memoria. Los mismos son similares a los que se observan en Síndromes virósicos persistentes, latentes y recurrentes, especialmente los causados por Virus Herpes 1 y 2 y Epstein Barr con incremento de anticuerpos específicos tipo IgG coincidentes con agudizaciones de la sintomatología. Finalmente, se plantea una conjetura que vincula núcleos del SNC, como la ínsula cerebral, con la memoria neuro –inmunoinflamatoria.
