Abstract

Este documento presenta los resultados de un estudio de caso realizado en la empresa Mecánica Gómez, negocio dedicado a la manufactura de piezas metálicas, cuyo alto desempeño y acelerado crecimiento permiten clasificarlo como empresa gacela. Se hace una revisión de la literatura disponible sobre este tipo de establecimiento; se comparan las características que otros investigadores han identificado en este tipo de negocios, con el perfil de la empresa estudiada; y se concluye identificando los principales rasgos que la han convertido en una empresa gacela
