Abstract

In this essay-like article we present elements coming out of an ongoing research (on Chagas) that started about 8 years ago, in the year 2000. We share some of the thoughts developed during those years and warn the readers that, since the project is ongoing, we are still in the process of finding the pieces that make up the puzzle encountered at the early stages. Therefore the reader will not find a text organized in a traditional way, but rather a sequence of sections that try to sort out the framework in which the main question of this work can be cast: what do we talk about when we talk about Chagas?
