Seizure of the books of Bishop Antonio Rodrigo de Orellana: a heritage transfer from Córdoba to the Public Library of Buenos Aires

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to publicize the file by which the seizure and transfer of assets from the library of Bishop Antonio Rodrigo de Orellana was processed. For which, the document was treated from the archival perspective, recognizing the documentary source, its characteristics, and any relevant data that could be related to Information Science. The documentary analysis made it possible to identify the file and the inventory of the administrative steps that concluded in the transfer of books from the valuable library of the prelate from the Government of Córdoba to the city of Buenos Aires.
