Abstract

The Dictionary without a crown aims to record as many words in use, in all their regional variations, in order to include new expressions. It arose from the contributions made during the first call to add definitions excluded from the dictionary of the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE), which has a restrictive, standardizing and hegemonizing character of the language.
