Abstract

The following proposal accounts for the research process carried out in 2014/2015 by the UNC Bachelor of Theatre. In the same one we approach "the relation between the social gesture and the extra-daily body as procedure of scenic construction".

We approach the social gesture as materiality that allows us to form an extra-daily body. The language chosen to carry out this is dance-theatre.

It is the bodies and the gesture that allow us to establish stages of creation through which we pass in order to approach a scenic event. In this process, we perceive the influence of improvisation patterns and the singular resolution of the performers, which in turn are reflections of our theoretical research, crossed by concepts of anthropology, sociology, philosophy, dance and theatre. In addition, we realize how this relationship between the extra-daily body and the social gesture makes it possible to compose a stage show. On the other hand, we recognize the influence on the research process of the scenographic elements that compose the scene.
