The scope of amicus curiae in the international investment arbitration

The scope of amicus curiae as a figure procedural participation of subjects different from the positions of the parties has been progressively a rise in national and international courts practice. Within the arbitration system on foreign investment, only in few opportunities was used this figure of Roman origin. In part, it sealed its proceedings, and by the reluctance of courts to accept figures that are often excluded from the arbitration procedures established.Downloads
