INTERNATIONAL LAW, LANGUAGE AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ECHOES OF VIII CILE 2019
Keywords:
Artificial Intelligence, Spanish language, International lawAbstract
Language and international law are constantly linked and present permanent interrelationships. Like many components of social life, language faces today the challenges posed by the unstoppable (?) development of Artificial Intelligence (AI). This paper is based upon the proposals made at the VIII International Congress of the Spanish Language (Córdoba, 2019). The event opened its plenary phase dealing with the problems of AI and the Spanish language. The Spanish language faces, in its incorporation into the digital universe, one of the greatest challenges in its history. If its use is not preserved, the risks include loss of quality and a decrease in world presence. It is necessary to safeguard the level of prominence of Spanish in the world of AI without sacrificing the richness it already has as a natural language.
