Eficácia do plasma rico em plaquetas nas úlceras venosas. Revisão sistemática

Resumo

Introdução: As úlceras venosas são feridas abertas, dolorosas e de difícil cicatrização. O tratamento pode ser desafiador, dependendo da complexidade da ferida, e pode exigir o uso de diversas terapias. Recentemente, o uso de plasma rico em plaquetas nesses pacientes tem sido sugerido como um novo tratamento. O objetivo deste trabalho é realizar uma revisão sobre a eficácia do plasma rico em plaquetas em úlceras venosas.

Método: Foi realizada uma revisão seguindo as normas PRISMA. Foram consultadas as bases de dados PubMed, Cinahl, PsycINFO, SPORTDiscus, Academic Search Complete, Lilacs, IBECS, CENTRAL, SciELO e WOS. A ferramenta Cochrane foi utilizada para avaliar o risco de viés.

Resultados: O plasma rico em plaquetas é eficaz em úlceras venosas. A amostra total foi de 311 pacientes de sete ensaios clínicos. A duração da terapia varia de 6 a 24 semanas. Todos os estudos mostraram segurança, tolerabilidade e nenhum efeito colateral importante.

Conclusões: O plasma rico em plaquetas é um método eficaz e seguro para acelerar a cicatrização, reduzir a área das úlceras e reduzir a dor nos pacientes. Além disso, esta terapia não aumenta o crescimento bacteriológico ou a carga microbiana nas úlceras venosas crónicas.
