The objective of this study was to evaluate the agronomic response, chemical and microbiological composition of six legumes in Quevedo Canton. The experiment was carried out at the experimental farm "La María", property of the State Technical University of Quevedo. The legumes under study were Kudzu, Mucuna, Maní forrajero, Clitoria, Canavalia, Centrocema and as cutting ages 45, 60 and 75 days, two experimental units were used, a Completely Randomized Design (DCA) was used, in a 6 x 3 factorial arrangement, the following variables were evaluated: root weight (g), forage weight (g), root length (cm), morphospecies, functional groups, total populations, chemical composition and nutritive value. The highest root weight was found in Clitoría ternera at 75 DDS. The highest forage weights and root length were reported in mucuna and canavalia at 60 DDS. The morphospecies found was reddish Glomus Acaulospora. The legume mucuna reported the highest number of viable spores per 100 grams of dry soil. The highest protein levels occurred at 45 and 75 days in the legume Mucuna.
