Abstract
El tema general elegido para presidir el III Congreso Internacional de Ciencias Humanas (CICH): Dar forma a un futuro democrático: saberes, sujetos, instituciones, ratifica el compromiso y la necesidad para las Humanidades de tomar la palabra en un mundo complejizado por transformaciones radicales de la existencia. La pregunta por el futuro se impone ante la aceleración de
procesos extremos del presente como la inteligencia artificial y la destrucción del medio ambiente, por no decir el resurgir bélico.
