Ingeniero Agrónomo Universidad de los Llanos en Colombia; Especialista en Educación Ambiental; Especialista en Gerencia Estratégica y Magister en Educación. Se ha desempeñado en cargos del sector público y privado; ha sido catedrático universitario y directivo universitario desempeñando varios cargos en IES públicas y privadas, fue Rector de la Universidad de los Llanos entre el año 2009 al 2015, fue Secretario General de ASCUN entre el año 2016 al 2019 y actualmente es su Director ejecutivo. Actualmente funge como presidente de ENLACES (Espacio Latinoamericano y Caribeño de la Educación Superior).
