El aprendizaje de la solidaridad y del compromiso con la justicia social es uno de los grandes desafíos de la pedagogía universitaria del siglo XXI.

Es fundamental promover desde la educación valores y actitudes de adhesión a la justicia social. Así como a fines del siglo XIX la educación enfrentó el desafío de promover adhesión a la identidad nacional por encima de las identidades particulares de tipo religioso o étnico, hoy enfrentamos el desafío de promover valores de adhesión a la justicia. Para ello es prioritario apostar a los diseños curriculares. Dichos diseños deben incorporar experiencias de aprendizaje que promuevan esos valores en todas las carreras universitarias.
