Abstract

Tecnopolis is a science and technology themed park, built in the Buenos Aires City outskirts. Based on our experience as hosts in the Anthropology area of Tecnopolis, we reflect on its different stands: Ethnography, Archaeology and Shincal. As a result, we explore how the exhibitions' meanings are co-produced in an interactive process involving the stands' designers, hosts and public.
In the end, we intent to discuss some aspects of anthropology divulgation, discipline which, nowadays, occupies a secondary role in the field of Argentina's social sciences.
