Cholesterinemia in alcohol intoxication
Keywords:
cholesterinemia, ethanol, alcohol intoxication.Abstract
Our knowledge of the action that ethyl alcohol exerts on the human organism is exclusively anatomo-pathological. There is no doubt that the cytological alterations described in chronic alcoholism are preceded and accompanied by histochemical modifications; but our ignorance is complete on this point and we have only a few hypotheses that try to explain the mechanism of narcosis due to alcohol.
