Abstract

Because of its characteristics, it is a heterogeneous complex of rocks, different from those known of the same age in the other parts of the Sierra de Córdoba and the other southern units of the Sierras Pampeanas system. In the north of our country there have been found quartzite schists little metamorphosed that can be identified with the ones we are dealing with.
