Abstract

On June 15, 2010, the Supreme Court ruled in the "Thomas" case. National Congressman Enrique Thomas initiated an amparo action against the National State, stating that his rights as a legislator had been violated in the process of sanctioning Law 26.522 (known as the "media law"), since such a process would have been "irregular".
