Abstract

This article aims to analyze the procedural powers that the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Province of Córdoba has to seek protection of the environment, mainly through the filing of environmental precautionary measures. In light of its institutional mission and environmental public order, the procedural rules based on which this body intervenes in judicial processes, whether necessary or optional, are examined. Under such rereading, the concrete possibilities of action on environmental issues, and the relevance of their intervention, are evaluated.
