Abstract

This paper proposes a revisited reading of the complex North Patagonian transitional processes developed in La Pampa, Rio Negro and Neuquén during the period 1983-1987. Assuming an interdisciplinary methodological perspective incorporates analytical tools of normative political philosophy, conceptual history and political history of the recent past. Arguments are provided in defense of a republican, reconstructive and evaluative perspective of the recent North Patagonian political past. In view of this main objective, certain methodological assumptions of the transcendent theoretical work of Q. Skinner are recovered, as well as some of the valuable theoretical contributions made by Argentine colleagues such as M. Franco, A. Reano, M. Garategaray and S. Morán.
