This paper, by studying the National Constitution and its background in terms of the division of powers, judicial control of constitutionality, the difficulty of the majority and its distortion, reflects from different dimensions the principle of separation of powers, as a system of checks and balances that seeks to avoid the concentration of power in one of the organs of government, which could generate an attack on the freedom and dignity of people and the abandonment of the rule of law.
