This work is part of the research project on the natural and cultural heritage of the City of Cordoba-Argentina as tourist heritage. The selected area of the work -in this case- is the General San Martín Urban Nature Reserve. The City of Córdoba promotes itself as a tourist destination, which does not necessarily imply the protection of the natural and cultural heritage that sustains this activity. The different projects, authorizations, etc. -essentially derived from urban development- in- volve, in most cases, the transfer of assets destined for collective use and enjoy- ment, to private or sectorial usage. The loss of the aforementioned heritage in its entirety -as a result of public policies that reposition these spaces- strips them of their original constitutive object, over which protection and destiny have already been decided as an object of conservation with collective use and enjoyment.
