Abstract

In this paper we propose an interdisciplinary analysis of certain Ar- gentine democratic, transitional and subnational phenomena. More precisely, using in a complementary way, methodological tools of normative political philosophy, critical discourse analysis, and recent political history, we offer relevant arguments in defense of the adoption of a reconstructive and evaluative deliberative republican perspective, as an appropriate theoretical scheme for the investigation and study of the discursive political processes produced in the provinces of La Pampa, Rio Negro, and Neuquén during the period 1979-1983.
