Abstract

The food industry is one of the productive strengths of the province of Córdoba with a large part of its Gross Domestic Product represented by the agro-industrial sector. However, the lack of knowledge on the part of society about the food production structure generates points of weakness, which must be resolved through interaction between the productive, social, academic and state sectors. The province of Córdoba has prestigious congresses and conferences on food, but mostly focused on the exhibition of works of a scientific nature for an academic community. The lack of a space for companies to acquire an "open door" approach prompted the demand for the "I-Agrifood Linking Day" with the purpose that companies are the ones who can provide information related to their activities, challenges and objectives for the strengthening of a productive framework centered on food. The conference was held in the Reform Auditorium of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the National University of Córdoba and was aimed at the productive sectors and all members of the science and technology units of the province of Córdoba, through a hybrid modality. between face-to-face and remotely.This event managed to consolidate this house of high studies as a benchmark in food issues.
