Abstract

The word "tensile structure" is an invented and perhaps protected word, but it evidently has its roots in Structures Tensioned, Tensile Structures, Light Structures, Textile Structures or Membrane Structures, which are others ways of naming an architectural typology that, although it does not always refer to exactly the same thing,
leads us to a system constructive increasingly common.
