Abstract

We know that officially the status of the first ladies is not a public function, some have participated in decision-making, campaigning in favor of their spouses, improving their image, even leading an independent political life in parallel or after leaving the power of your spouse. Due to this, and with the passing of the years, it is observed that this function is growing, which is why it ceases to be only protocol and become important actors in the political system, to the point of asking ourselves if their functions can or cannot represent the state.
