Abstract

The script inquire how the interpretation of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights has contributed to the conceptual construction of vulnerability as a legal asset specially protected in the IAHRS, with the goal of achieving a better understanding of the processes of conventional interpretation and the design of standards of reinforced hedge of rights by virtue of which the exercise of a differentiated control of conventionality is detected. In other words, the main motive of this paper lies in exploring how legal operators can optimize the understanding of vulnerability as a hermeneutic instrument that, made up of specific interpretative functions and techniques, its capable of transforming it into a legal asset deserving of prevailing safeguard.
