Abstract

Ninety-three cases of epulis that prove to bt> granu~omatose hyperplas!creticular tissue of inflamatory nature and therefore, benign are studied. They can be differentiated in the following way; gigantic celular peripheric granulomas, angioblastic granulomas and fibroblastic or fibrous granulomas. Their evolution can be conditioned to general factors such as hormones Ímd local factors such as initation. lts base of insertjon can be periodontal ( with radiologic evidencies) periosteal of osseous érest or fibromucous Qf gurn ( \Vithout radio~ogic evidencies).
