Abstract

Clinical, radiographic, surgical and histopathological exami.llations of 34 paradentql cysts cases were done. Radiographic examination shoved 82% appendicular paradental cysts and 18% residual cysts lateral cysts were ab. sent. A well definite radiopaque halo surrouding a radiolucid area was seen . in 61,2% of the cysts; it was discontinued or diffused in 20,6% and absent in 18,2% of cases. In relating the radiographic to the histological findings the 78,9% of the 19 definite radiopaque halo cysts faund to be thick fibrous capsules. The 68,4% of the long existing cysts and formen fistulas and closed diffused or discontinued halo cysts and cyts without halo were found to be
