Abstract

Public health (PH) research focuses on pillars that investigate, analyse and explain
on the pillars that investigate, analyse and explain the determinants of the
determinants of the health status of the population,
as well as determinants and the complex responses
and the complex responses arising from the social network, with the
to provide solutions to health problems, from a collective
health problems from a collective point of view. The vision of the
research processes in SP address two main areas: generating the
areas: generating the necessary knowledge to understand the causes and
understanding the causes and factors that influence health conditions from a
health conditions from a population perspective
and to evaluate and explain the effect of different policies, interventions and
different policies, interventions and mechanisms for organising systems and
and mechanisms for organising health systems and
health service delivery.
