Author Biography

Benito Soria, Universidad Nacional de Córdoba

He was a pediatrician, professor and politician from Córdoba. As a doctor he was awarded a scholarship in 1909 to study in Europe, Professor of the Chair of External Pathology (1915-1944) at the Faculty of Medicine of the National University of Cordoba and director of the Casa Cuna. His disciples founded the Committee for the Defense of the Child. As a politician, he was a national deputy for Córdoba for two terms and national senator for the same province.
