Abstract

On the fifth anniversary of the death of the illustrious Argentine thinker, we contribute with this modest offering to the celebration of his glory, annually commemorated, on this date, by the intellectual element of Buenos Aires. This humble contribution to the knowledge of his scientific production, which up to the present time the highest authorities of the country ignore, is intended to design the personality of the genius and his work.

Author Biography

Alfredo Castellanos, Universidad Nacional de Córdoba

Alfredo Castellanos (City of Buenos Aires, July 25, 1893 - June 22, 1975), was an Argentine physician, professor, anthropologist, paleontologist, geologist and geographer. His brother, Professor Dr. Alberto Castellanos, was a renowned botanist, specialized in bromeliads and cacti.
