In this chapter we read the following concerning the writer of these pages, even though he is not mentioned by name: "One of our most erudite and prolific writers has published a study tending to demonstrate that it is unjust to attribute the execution of Acha to General Pacheco. Among other documents, it is based on the well-known letter of Friar Aldao to Rosas.

Ernesto Ángel Queseda Medina, Universidad Nacional de Córdoba
Ernesto Ángel Quesada Medina (Buenos Aires, June 1, 1858 - Spiez, Switzerland, February 7, 1934) was an Argentine lawyer, sociologist, historian, writer, professor and magistrate. He was part of the generation of the 80's, although his intellectual, political and social preferences made him a singular personality. In an autobiographical note, Quesada described himself as a polygraphist, and emphasized that within his work there was a strict unity of study and production, and that he had only cultivated the social sciences. Quesada thus included in his concept of social sciences his extensive legal, historical, political and literary production: Juan Canter counted 564 titles belonging to Quesada. A multifaceted thinker, he is considered the inaugural figure of historical revisionism in Argentina, and one of the founders of the social sciences in that country.
