This publication contains the diagnosis of the new collections and a synopsis of eighty-two species known to date of the oligocene fauna of the Paraná.

Author Biography

Alfredo Castellanos, Universidad Nacional de Córdoba

Alfredo Castellanos (City of Buenos Aires, July 25, 1893 - June 22, 1975), was an Argentine physician, professor, anthropologist, paleontologist, geologist and geographer. His brother, Professor Dr. Alberto Castellanos, was a renowned botanist, specialized in bromeliads and cacti.
