Johannes Kronfuss (German: Johannes Kronfuss or Johannes Kronfuß, Hungarian: János Mátyás Kronfuss, Spanish: Juan Kronfuss) (July 19, 1872, Pest, Austro-Hungarian Empire - † May 29, 1944, Córdoba, Argentina) was a German engineer, architect, draftsman, painter, researcher and writer from Hungary, who was also a teacher and civil servant in Germany and Argentina. He arrived in the latter country in 1909 as a result of having won 1st prize in the international competition held by the then Faculty of Exact, Physical and Natural Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires to be in charge of the work of what would be the new headquarters of the Faculty of Engineering of Buenos Aires.
