Abstract

Human nosology has advanced so much in our days and has benefited so much in its progress from the conquests of general biology and its cognate "Zooparasitology", that it can be affirmed with Brumpt that this has become the key to medicine, and with Blanchard that morbid etiology and prophylaxis can be said to be matters of pure zoology. Indeed, in many questions of Clinical, Epidemiology or Hygiene, inexplicable by Bacteriology, Natural History shows an animal or a parasitic fungus whose origin, metamorphosis, ways of penetration and modes of action it reveals.
