Author Biography

Fernando Beresñak, Universidad de Buenos Aires. Facultad de Ciencias Sociales. Instituto de Investigaciones Gino Germani

Researcher at CONICET and at the "Instituto de Investigaciones Gino Germani" of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the UBA. During his training he specialized in political philosophy and received his PhD in social sciences (FSOC-UBA). He holds a master's degree in political science from the Instituto de Altos Estudios Sociales (IDAES-UNSAM), a graduate degree in "psychoanalysis and social sciences" from the Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales (FLACSO) and is a lawyer (FD-UBA). His topics of study are oriented towards a matrix of contemporary issues approached mainly from political and legal philosophy, political and social theories, metaphysics and scientific worldview. Currently, his field of work consists, first, in a progressive analysis of the modeling of spatial conceptions with a long-range periodicity and, second, in examining the mutations of the political status of law during modernity. He is the author of the book "The scientific empire. Political-spatial investigations" (Miño y Dávila Editores, 2017).
