Abstract

"La parole ascendante, ou sommes-nous encore dignes de la poesie? (notes eparses)" in : Lettres à Vadim Kozovoï, suivi de La parole ascendante, Houilles, Manucius, 2009, p. 171-179. Postface written by Maurice Blanchot for the Hermann edition (1984) of Vadim Kozovoï's Hors de la coline. The version published on the occasion of the edition of the Blanchot-Kozovoï correspondence cited above is translated here. This translation is not intended for commercial purposes and may be freely disseminated provided that the source and the translation are cited.

Maurice Blanchot, University of Strasbourg

Maurice Blanchot (22 September 1907 – 20 February 2003) was a French writer, philosopher, and literary theorist. His work had a strong influence on post-structuralist philosophers such as Gilles Deleuze, Michel Foucault, Jacques Derrida, and Jean-Luc Nancy.
