Consumo riesgoso de sustancias y conducta delictiva en adolescentes argentinos: un estudio comparativo según género

Resumen
El consumo riesgoso de sustancias (CRS) y la conducta delictiva (CD) son conductas frecuentes en adolescentes. Este estudio analizó sus tasas, asociaciones y diferencias por género en 1065 adolescentes escolarizados argentinos que completaron la Encuesta Internacional de Delincuencia Autoinformada. Aproximadamente, un tercio reportó CRS y casi la mitad haber realizado alguna CD. Se encontraron diferencias significativas según género respecto a la CD, aunque no en relación con CRS. Alrededor de dos tercios de quienes informaron CRS también reportaron al menos una CD. Los odds ratios (OR) de la asociación entre el CRS y la CD fueron todos positivos y significativos, variando según el tipo de CD (violenta vs. no violenta) y el género. El mayor OR se observó en varones con CD violentas (OR = 6.91, IC 95% = 3.97, 12.03). Los hallazgos resaltan la necesidad de políticas públicas basadas en la evidencia que atiendan las particularidades de esta población.
