Estructura interna de la Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) en adolescentes peruanos

Resumen

El objetivo del presente estudio es identifcar las evidencias de validez de la estructura interna y en relación con otras variables de la MSPSS. Las muestras fueron conformadas por 242 estudiantes (Medad=14.02; DEedad=1.272) y 271 estudiantes (Medad = 15.94; DEedad = 1.192). En la fase uno se replicó la estructura factorial original de tres factores oblicuos (familia, amigos y otros significativos), y en la segunda fase se corroboró que las dimensiones de la MSPSS son predictoras de las puntuaciones de eutimia (afecto positivo) y distimia (afecto negativo) del Inventario de Depresión Estado/Rasgo. Además, los indicadores de confiabilidad de las puntuaciones y del constructo son favorables. Se concluye que la MSPSS es un instrumento con adecuadas propiedades psicométricas y que puede ser utilizado en el contexto educativo.
