Abstract

The present text aims to explore the problems triggered by the global health emergency, starting from the analysis of the overlapping of three different discussions that, however, must be addressed in their unity: Firstly, the criticism of modern scientism, since it operates as an ideological veil of alleged axial neutrality and intellectual objectivity in the face of the need to
claim an ethical-political use of science, against capitalist exploitation; in second place, the study of how, through scientism, the importance of analyzing the bacteriological security programs of the military complexes of the global powers (particularly the United States) has been underestimated, starting from the understanding that the development of genetic
engineering opens up new armament possibilities as yet unknown; and thirdly, the balance of the reaction set in motion by the great international capitals to accelerate the automation of processes and the developments of artificial intelligence to sharpen the exploitation of resources on the planet, aggravating the civilizing catastrophe in which we live.
